Founded by J. David Greene in 1989

C- Visa originally began as an amnesty office under the auspices of San Bernardino , in 1987. At that time J. David Greene was asked to head the amnesty program for the eastern end of the diocese from Banning to Blythe. He served from May of 1987 until August of 1989, when the bishop closed all diocesan amnesty offices.

Since then, the board of Directors of C-Visa has continued to serve Valley residents with their immigration needs. Mr. Greene has been a member of the board since its inception.

The only non-profit agency in Riverside County that is accredited by the Board of Immigration Appeals Member of the Citizenship Outreach Program of the Los Angeles District of the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Special attention is paid to clients whose physical or mental disabilities previously barred them from citizenship. Also, arrangements can be made for clients who are bedridden.
